June 11, 2018 – In The Garden

I sat in our garden for two hours yesterday morning and logged the following birds.  I captured my first photo of a Cedar Waxwing, I’ve been waiting for that.  Fortuitous that all I had to do was sit and watch.

  1. Nice list of birds. Many more than I’ve seen for a while.
Opposite end of the state from where I’m from. You need to take a trip to Hawk Mountain. There is also another good place for watching eagles closer to where you are, but I forget where. It may be the Allegheny National Forest. I’ve never been to Presque Isle, but I think it was Greg Miller (big year guy) who told us it is a good place for birding during a seminar he held when we were in FL.
